Apple Announces Online WWDC 2024

Event to Feature Keynote, Sessions, and More

Apple today announced it will host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) online from June 10 through 14, 2024.

The 35th annual WWDC will feature an introductory keynote event on June 10 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, followed by a series of sessions, workshops, and other activities designed to help developers create innovative and groundbreaking apps for Apple platforms.

"WWDC is a unique opportunity for developers from around the world to come together and share their ideas and experiences," said Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering. "This year's conference will be no exception, and we're excited to see what our developers create with the latest tools and technologies from Apple."

WWDC 2024 will feature a keynote address by Apple CEO Tim Cook, as well as presentations from other Apple executives and engineers. The conference will offer more than 100 sessions on a wide range of topics, including:

  • iOS 18 and iPadOS 16
  • macOS 14
  • watchOS 9
  • tvOS 17
  • Swift and SwiftUI
  • Xcode and App Store

In addition to the keynote and sessions, WWDC 2024 will also feature a variety of other activities, including:

  • One-on-one labs with Apple engineers
  • Developer Forums where developers can connect with each other and Apple experts
  • Apple Design Awards to recognize outstanding apps

Developers can apply to attend WWDC 2024 at the WWDC website. The conference is open to all Apple developers who are members of the Apple Developer Program. The cost to attend is $1,999 for individuals and $999 for students.

For those who cannot attend WWDC in person, Apple will be providing live and on-demand video coverage of the keynote and sessions on the Apple Developer website. The videos will be available in English, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
